    Do Libraries Matter? (12/09/2005)

Library 2.0 (a clever takeoff on Web 2.0) is an appealing concept that will inspire plenty of debate. I particularly enjoyed the "screencap" of a book on Amazon UK showing all the libraries where a person could go borrow a copy. (Whose arm at Amazon do we have to twist to make this happen?)

Perceptions of Libraries and Information Resources 2005 (12/07/2005)

OCLC commissioned this report, which draws representative samples of information consumers from Australia, Canada, India, Singapore, the U.K., and the U.S. Of particular interest to me are the sections that talk about college/university students and their habits and perceptions.
